Akiet is pleased to announce that it will supply its High Strength Composite Tubulars (HSCT) for a new injector well in the city heating project at Thisted Varmeforsyning A.m.b.a. in the North of Denmark.
Thisted Varmevorsyning has been supplying the community of Thisted with low-cost heat from different renewable sources, including waste incineration, a bio-mass plant and a geothermal system, which has been running since 1984. It now wishes to drill and complete a new injector well. With its 30 years of experience in operating a geothermal system, and with advise from their technical consultants Pro-Invest Solutions (Poland) and WellPerform (Denmark) it has chosen Akiet HSCT on the basis of its resistance to corrosion and scaling and its low pumping pressure losses which are a result of very smooth surfaces and favourably large Inner Diameter/ Outer Diameter on Couplings ratio.
Akiet will produce the 1200 meters 10.6” HSCT in its new automated production facility in Lelystad, The Netherlands. With Akiet’s advanced centrifugal casting technology the tubulars are void free with superior strength properties in different dimensions.
We will respond to your inquiry shortly.
